NYC has so many  picture perfect locations you’ve seen on TV or Instagram. Each is so distinctly New York, it’s hard not to love them all. Here are a few favourites.

View points

Top of the Rock

For that iconic shot of the Empire State Building and the two rivers surrounding Manhattan. Have someone you’re with go to the top deck and take a photo of you on the lower deck with the ESB in the backdrop. You’ll love it!

Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo

Offer stunning views of the downtown financial core. Dumbo is also home to that epic cobblestone street shot of the ESB through the arch of the Manhattan Bridge.

The Met (rooftop, Temple of Dendur and The Charles Engelhard Court)

The MET has so many picture worthy moments but the 3 are possibly my favourite.

Times Square

It’s crowded and it sometimes gets crazy but when the screens light up at night, it’s definitely picture worthy.

The Vessel

The new development in Hudson Yards hides this new insta spot, tickets are free and can be booked a week in advance. Book a few options to go up in case of rain.

Bryant Park and the NYPL

Ideal at lunch hour for people watching, coffee breaks and fun in the winter during Winter Village.

Oculus

For that shot of the One World Trade Centre through the rooftop glass ceiling.

Cafes and restaurants

The Butcher’s Daughter

Both locations are amazing. Great place, great food and always some A list actresses and actors around

La Mercerie

Contemporary French eatery, pastry counter and home decor showcase inside Roman and Williams Guild. The surrounding buildings of SoHo make for the perfect photo op after your coffee.

Sant Ambroeus

I love the one on Perry Street, the patio is adorable and perfectly New York. Perry street is technically where Carrie’s apartment is so it’s the perfect location.

Levain Bakery

The bakery is tiny and tucked away on the UWS but the cookie is oh so instagram worthy. 🙂

Eataly- Flatiron district

Eataly is the chaos you didn’t know you need. Equally busy from the opening minutes to closing time, it offers everything from coffee, pastries, ice cream and pralines to sandwiches and a variety of restaurants all inconspicuously hiding behind the small entrance. Grab your order to go and sit in the sun in the lovely Madison Square Park across the street taking in the views of the iconic Flatiron Building.

Sarabeth’s

For the incredibly delicious and instagrammable pancakes. Choose the legendary UES location or the one in Tribeca.
